Wen DW1085 for Wood & Metal Surfaces?

Has anyone tried using the Wen DW1085 sander on both wood and metal surfaces? I'm considering it, but not sure if it's versatile enough.

I've used it on wood, and it works great. It leaves a very smooth finish.

That's interesting, @nickcicero. Did you find that the dust collection feature worked well? And how about the no-load speed for wood?

I used it on both metal and wood surfaces. For metal, it does a decent job, but it can be a bit noisy.
