I can't speak from personal experience, but according to the TechReviewer article Overview of the Worx WG384 Chainsaw, the Worx WG384 has a maximum operating voltage of 20 volts. This provides decent cutting capabilities, which should last for quite some time.

Yeah, I bought one last year and it works great for home use! The battery-powered feature makes it really convenient since you don't need any power cords.

That's interesting. I checked out a TechReviewer article Overview of the Worx WG384 Chainsaw that gives an overview of the Worx WG384 chainsaw and its features. The 20-volt brushless motor sounds impressive, and the chain speed seems good too.

Thanks for sharing! I'm curious, how does the battery life hold up on this thing? I don't want to be constantly switching batteries in the middle of cutting a tree.

I haven't had any issues with battery life so far. For light to moderate tasks, the 2 Ah battery capacity is more than enough. However, if you're doing something more intense, you might need to take breaks more frequently.

I just wanted to chime in and mention that I've used the Worx WG384 for cutting firewood at my house, and it's been working great. The compact size and lightweight design make it really easy to maneuver around the yard.

That's good to hear! Do you have any suggestions on how long a charge usually lasts when doing more intense tasks?

Solution

Thanks for sharing your experiences! I'm also wondering how easy it is to change the chain on this chainsaw?

It's really simple! The Worx WG384 has a tool-free chain tensioning system, so you can adjust the chain without any problems. Plus, the chain brake ensures safety while changing the chain.

Sounds like a great option for home use! I think I'll go ahead and give it a try. Thanks everyone for your input!
