I'm considering picking up a new chainsaw and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Worx WG384.9 when it comes to handling hardwood?

Yeah, I've used the Worx WG384.9 for cutting some hard wood recently and found it did a pretty good job. The 14-inch bar length helped a lot.

I'll definitely have a look at that! Can anyone else chime in with their experiences?

I've had the Worx WG384.9 for a couple of months now and it handles hardwood pretty well. The 26 FPS chain speed is impressive, makes cutting through hard wood much faster than my old chainsaw.

That's true, the 26 FPS chain speed does make a difference when working with harder materials. Plus, I love the brushless motor - it runs smoothly and lasts longer.

I'm still on the fence about whether to get this chainsaw or not. Any other features worth mentioning?

The tool-free chain tensioning is really nice - makes adjusting the chain super easy. And the chain brake is a big plus for safety.

Another thing I like about the Worx WG384.9 is its portability. The battery-powered design means I can take it anywhere without worrying about power cords.

I agree, the portability aspect is great. But the weight could be improved - 10.4 lbs isn't too bad, but it can get tiring after a while when carrying it around.

Thanks for all the input everyone! I think I'm leaning more towards getting the Worx WG384.9 now.
