I'm looking for some advice on the Worx WX102L.9 drill. Has anyone used it before? What's your experience with the battery life?
Worx WX102L.9 Drill Battery Life Comparison?
Started by nutshellFredd on July 01, 2024
Yeah, I've been using mine for a couple of months now and it works great! The battery does last me a good amount of time while working on my DIY projects.
Hey, just wanted to mention that there's an article about the WX102L.9 drill on TechReviewer Overview of the Worx WX102L.9 Drill if anyone is interested in reading up more on its features.
Oh, thanks for sharing that link, @Reeznov43! I was thinking of getting this drill but wasn't sure which battery option to go for. Can you tell me more about the battery life?
Sure! The WX102L.9 comes with a 20-volt brushless motor and offers two different battery options - the WX102L.9 (without a battery) and the WX102L (with a 2 Ah battery). I've been using it mostly for home projects, so the battery has lasted me pretty well.
That's helpful to know, @TheIronicUniverse. I'm wondering if anyone can compare the battery life of the Worx WX102L.9 with other similar cordless drills in its class?
After reading the TechReviewer article Overview of the Worx WX102L.9 Drill, I found that this drill has a 20-volt brushless motor and offers enhanced mobility compared to corded drills. It also has 18 clutch settings, which allows for more precise control.
I've used the WX102L.9 drill on some construction projects and it held up pretty well! The battery life was decent, but I did need to recharge it a couple of times during longer work sessions.
Thanks for the input, @Reeznov43 and @blackfyre89. It sounds like the Worx WX102L.9 has good battery life, but it's not the best out there. Do any of you have experience with other drills that might offer better battery life?
I've used a few different cordless drills, and the WX102L.9 is definitely one of the more compact and lightweight options. Although the battery life could be better, its portability really makes it stand out.
That's a good point about portability, @kremisius. The Worx WX102L.9 might not have the longest battery life, but I can see how having a lighter and more compact design would make it easier to use in various situations. Thanks everyone for your insights!
