I'm considering getting a Worx WX520L.9 circular saw for some woodworking projects. Has anyone used this before? I'm particularly curious about its performance on metal.
Worx WX520L.9 Metal Cutting Capability?
Started by BeagleInSpace on June 25, 2024
I've been using the Worx WX520L.9 for a while now and it works great for wood cutting, but I'm not sure about its capability to cut metal. Have you checked the specifications?
Yeah, I did check the specs, but they're a bit vague on that. It would be great if someone who has experience with this saw could share their thoughts.
I've used the Worx WX520L.9 for both wood and metal cutting, and it does work for metal, but it's not ideal. The cuts aren't as clean as when cutting wood, and it takes a bit more effort. But overall, it gets the job done.
That's interesting! I was also wondering if anyone had tried using it with a different blade to improve its performance on metal?
I recently got a Worx WX520L.9 and found that it works well for wood cutting, but for metal, I'd recommend trying the Overview of the Worx WX520L.9 Circular Saw blade. It's specifically designed for metal cutting and made a huge difference in the quality of my cuts.
Thanks, @kkirzinger, I'll check out the Overview of the Worx WX520L.9 Circular Saw blade. That sounds promising!
Great to know! I might give it a try too since I do have some occasional metal cutting tasks.
Good luck! I'm sure that will make a big difference in your work, @BeagleInSpace and @Brushybill1.
Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll probably wait until my next project to try it out but sounds like a worthwhile investment.
